Corporate Lawyer

Job Description

We are looking for a proactive and organized Legal Secretary who is detail oriented, efficient, and has a passion for supporting the legal team in a fast paced environment. Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to lawyers, paralegals, and legal staff.
  • Manage and maintain legal files, documents, and case files.
  • Draft legal correspondence, pleadings, and other documents as required.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, hearings, and client appointments.
  • Manage calendars and appointments, ensuring compliance with deadlines.
  • Prepare and file documents in courts or with other legal bodies.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Coordinate client communications and respond to inquiries.
  • Assist with research and ensure that documents and evidence are correctly organized.
  • Maintain and update legal databases and case management systems.

Technical Skills

  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in a legal secretarial role or administrative support in a law firm.
  • Familiarity with legal terminology, documents, and procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience with legal case management software (e.g., Clio, Legal Tracker, etc.) is a plus.
  • Excellent typing skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively and meet deadlines.
